“Kabul, Afghanistan,” a powerful exhibit featuring the photographs of documentarian James Longley, is currently on view at the Power Plant Gallery. Primarily a documentary filmmaker, Longley is known for his work that examines the lives of people in conflict zones. The exhibit features a series of panoramas – still images sequenced together to create one photograph – that Longley describes as “scenes united in a short, thirty-second movie.”
