Film Screening: RACING EXTINCTION

September 24, 2015 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

RACING EXTINCTION is coming to Duke University for a one-night-only screening at Duke Gardens! The screening is free and open to the public, and is part of the Full Frame Road Show presented by PNC. This screening will feature a post-film Q&A with Dr. Stuart Pimm, film subject and Doris Duke Professor of Conservation Ecology at Duke University! OscarĀ®-winning director Louie Psihoyos (THE COVE) assembles a team of artists and activists on an undercover operation to expose the hidden world of endangered species and the race to protect them against mass extinction. Spanning the globe to infiltrate the world’s most dangerous black markets and using high tech tactics to document the link between carbon emissions and species extinction, RACING EXTINCTION reveals stunning, never-before seen images that truly change the way we see the world.
